Not content to rebroadcast the east coast version, the “Undateable” cast and crew produced a second live episode for those viewing the episode in the pacific timezone.

And while the west coast edition of the live NBC sitcom episode adhered to a similar structure, it possessed some glaring differences.

Notably, it featured a kiss between guest star Ed Sheeran and “Undateable” star Brent Morin.

The west coast version also saw Sheeran join guest star Victoria Justice and series regular Bridgit Mendler for the closing song.

And the changes did not exclusively involve Ed Sheeran.

Absent from the east coast feed, advertised guest star Kate Walsh appeared in the west coast version of the broadcast. She played the role occupied by Minnie Driver in the first run.
