Ratings: ABC’s “Bruce Jenner: The Interview” Claims #1 for the Week

The emotional interview in which Bruce Jenner declared “I’m a woman” drew massive ratings for ABC.

Airing from 9-11PM ET, the ABC News broadcast ranked as the week’s top program (thus far) in adults 18-49. It also averaged a blockbuster total viewership number.

Per fast national ratings data, “The Interview” drew a 5.0 adults 18-49 rating with 16.74 million viewers from 9-10PM and a 5.3 with 16.99 million from 10-11PM.

Even more resonant with the adults 25-54 crowd, “Jenner” averaged a 6.2 adults 25-54 rating in the first hour and a 6.6 in the second.

ABC led into “The Interview” with “Shark Tank.” It delivered a 1.7 adults 18-49 rating, a 2.4 adults 25-54 rating and a 7.79 million viewership average.
