Joshua Davis Wins The Voice Instant Save, Becomes Adam’s Last Contestant Standing

Coach Adam Levine received good news and bad news during Tuesday’s “The Voice” results show.

On the bright side, the Instant Save once again fell in favor of a Team Adam contestant. After saving Deanna Johnson from elimination last week, Twitter users came to the aid of Joshua Davis on this week’s show.

On the down side, Johnson was once again in the bottom three this week. And insofar as she did not earn a second straight Instant Save, she is no longer in the competition.

That means Davis is the last Team Adam contestant standing.

Team Christina contestant Rob Taylor was also eliminated this week.

Davis, Johnson and Taylor–this week’s Bottom Three–fought for the Instant Save with renditions of “I Won’t Back Down,” “Help Me Through the Night” and “(Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay,” respectively.

The Johnson and Taylor eliminations narrow the field to eight. Still alive in the competition are Team Adam’s Joshua Davis, Team Pharrell’s Sawyer Fredericks and Koryn Hawthorne, Team Christina’s India Carney and Kimberly Nichole and Team Blake’s Corey Kent White, Meghan Linsey and Hannah Kirby.
