Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” Ranks as Hot AC’s Most Added; Meghan Trainor Follows

This week, thirteen hot adult contemporary radio programmers revealed that they want to dance like Uma Thurman.

In picking up the song, those 13 monitored Hot AC stations earn Fall Out Boy’s “Uma Thurman” the format’s most added honor this week.

Mediabase confirmed the count and most added distinction Monday evening.

The solid Hot AC add count comes a week after “Uma Thurman” earned a healthy 29 monitored pop radio adds. The multi-format single is, meanwhile, in the Top 40 on Mediabase’s alternative airplay chart.

As far as Hot AC goes, Meghan Trainor’s soaring “Dear Future Husband” enjoys another solid add week. Second-most added, Trainor’s third single earned pickups from 12 monitored stations.

MAGIC!’s “No Way No” and The Weeknd’s “Earned It” tie for third with 9 adds each, while Life of Dillon’s “Overload” leverages its 8 pickups for a fifth-most added distinction.

Other popular options for Hot AC programmers: Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness’ “Cecilia and the Satellite” (6th-most added, 7 adds), Madonna’s “Ghosttown” (6th-most added, 7 adds), Katy Tiz’ “Whistle (While You Work It)” (8th-most added, 6 adds), Misterwives’ “Reflections” (8th-most added, 6 adds), Jason Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” (10th-most added, 5 adds), Mumford & Sons’ “Believe” (10th-most added, 5 adds) and Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth)” (10th-most added, 5 adds).
