ACM Awards: Jason Aldean Scores Male Vocalist of the Year for 3rd Straight Time

The winner of Male Vocalist of the Year at the 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards is the same one who won at the 49th ACM Awards. And the 48th.

Jason Aldean, that winner, received the Male Vocalist of the Year trophy at Sunday’s show.

The “Burnin’ it Down” singer bested a group of fellow superstars. Other Male Vocalist of the Year nominees included Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, Blake Shelton and Eric Church.

Aldean is still in the running for Entertainer of the Year, which represents the night’s ultimate prize. He challenges Luke Bryan, Garth Brooks, Miranda Lambert and Florida Georgia Line for that honor.
