Dave Matthews Band to Perform on the 5/8 “Late Show with David Letterman”

Earlier this week, CBS announced Dave Matthews Band would be performing on one of the final editions of its “Late Show with David Letterman.”

Wednesday, it confirmed a specific date.

CBS revealed that Dave Matthews Band will perform on the Friday, May 8 edition of its iconic “Letterman.”

Dave Matthews Band made its national television debut on the February 24, 1995 edition of “Late Show.” Over the past twenty years, it has returned to play twelve more times.

The Friday, May 8 performance will come a night after the band plays a set for the “Legends on Letterman” web series. Scheduled for May 7 at 9PM ET, the Dave “Legends on Letterman” gig will air on CBS.com and CBS apps.

Mumford & Sons will play the 5/5 “Legends on Letterman” web show.
