Ratings: A&E’s “Bates Motel” Adds Viewers, “The Returned” Slips

For all intents and purposes, A&E’s pair of dramas held steady despite competition from CBS’ coverage of the NCAA Men’s Basketball final.

After hitting a viewership low last week, 9PM drama “Bates Motel” enjoyed a slight lift this week. Its viewership total of 1.76 million narrowly bested the 1.71 million drawn last week.

Up in viewership, the episode nonetheless endured a slight dip in the adults 18-49 demographic. Its 0.71 demo rating fell slightly short of the 0.73 garnered last week.

Lead-out “The Returned,” meanwhile, held steady in the adults 18-49 demo but slipped in viewership. After posting a 0.44 with 1.12 million viewers last week, the freshman drama drew a 0.44 with 1.05 million this week.
