Update: The bad news: despite receiving improved lead-in support from “The Flash,” Tuesday’s edition of “iZombie” did not enjoy a week-over-week uptick of its own.
The good news: “iZombie” held steady in the demo and thus avoided the week three drop that often plagues new series.
According to final broadcast data, Tuesday’s “iZombie” delivered a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 1.81 million viewers. While the viewership number trailed the 1.99 million drawn by last week’s broadcast, the 0.7 rating precisely mirrored that of its predecessor.
The aforementioned “The Flash” opened The CW’s evening with an improved 1.3 rating and 3.67 million viewers. Last week’s broadcast drew a 1.2 with 3.30 million.

Barring a negative adjustment in the final ratings report, episode three of The CW’s “iZombie” avoided a week-over-week drop in the adults 18-49 demographic.
Like last week’s episode, this week’s edition of “iZombie” delivered a 0.7 adults 18-49 rating.
Its 0.6 adults 18-34 rating and 0.8 adults 25-54 rating were also on par with those posted by the March 24 episode, while the 1.90 million viewership average fell only narrowly short of the 1.99 million drawn by that broadcast.
While its cause was aided by a steady–if not improved–edition of The CW’s “The Flash” (this week’s episode drew a 1.2 rating with 3.50 million viewers in the fast nationals and could potentially receive an upward lift in the finals; last week’s broadcast posted a 1.1 with 3.21 million in the fast nationals and a 1.2 with 3.30 million in the finals), “iZombie” still deserves credit for avoiding the week three drop that customarily plagues new dramas.
