Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown” Hits #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay Chart

Because they cull their data from different panels–and rely on different metrics–the Mediabase and Billboard country airplay charts do not precisely mirror each other.

The divergence is underscored in weeks when each of the charts crowns a different number one song. This is one of those weeks.

While Darius Rucker’s “Homegrown Honey” grabs the #1 position on this week’s Mediabase country chart, Zac Brown Band’s “Homegrown” earns the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Cut from the forthcoming “Jekyll + Hyde,” “Homegrown” becomes the band’s eleventh Country Airplay #1. Prior to “Homegrown,” its most recent chart-topper was “Uncaged” single “Sweet Annie.”

“Homegrown” appears at #2 on this week’s Mediabase chart.
