SNL Ratings: The Rock, George Ezra Episode Hits Season Low in Households

He might be franchise Viagra at the box office, but Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is evidently not TV ratings Viagra.

This weekend’s edition of “Saturday Night Live,” which featured Johnson as host and George Ezra as musical guest, drew a 3.7 overnight household rating.

Not simply down from the 4.0 drawn by the previous episode on March 7 (host Chris Hemsworth, musical guest Zac Brown Band), the 3.7 overnight household rating represents a season low for “SNL.”

This weekend’s episode posted a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating in the 25 markets with local people meters. That number is not a season low, but it does narrowly trail the 2.0 posted by the previous installment.

“SNL” returns next week with Michael Keaton as host and Carly Rae Jepsen as musical guest.
