Ratings: A&E’s “Bates Motel” Rises Slightly, “The Returned” Slips Slightly

Neither the “Bates Motel” nor “The Returned” ratings moved significantly this week.

The slight movement that did take place, however, was positive for only one of the series.

A&E’s “Bates” enjoyed the slight uptick this week. It bested last week’s 0.77 adults 18-49 rating and 1.91 million viewers with a 0.83 and 1.92 million for this week’s broadcast.

Freshman lead-out “The Returned,” meanwhile, tilted slightly downward. The third “Returned” episode posted a 0.36 adults 18-49 rating with 1.05 million total viewers. The previous broadcast delivered a 0.38 with 1.08 million.
