Last Wednesday’s “Empire” finale provided viewers with a taste of Charles Hamilton and Rita Ora’s collaborative single “New York Raining.”
Monday’s “Late Night with Seth Meyers” provides viewers with an opportunity to see a complete performance.
Hamilton and Ora perform the song to conclude Monday’s edition of the NBC talk show. The showcase comes as part of a broader push to turn the song, which credits Hamilton as the lead artist and Ora as a featured performer, into a legitimate hit single.
That push also includes a radio launch. “New York Raining” is presently scheduled to impact rhythmic radio on March 31 (“You’re So Beautiful,” which is also featured on the “Empire” soundtrack, goes for rhythmic adds that same day).
In addition to the Hamilton and Ora performance, Monday’s “Late Night” also features appearances by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Christina Hendricks and Conner O’Malley.
