Kacey Musgraves’ “Biscuits,” Luke Bryan’s “Games” Debut on Country Airplay Chart

It neither hits iTunes nor formally impacts country radio until next week, but Kacey Musgraves’ new single “Biscuits” already claims a place on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

“Biscuits,” the lead single from the Grammy, CMA and ACM winner’s next album, arrives at #56 on this week’s edition of the Billboard listing. It is the highest-charting debut.

The single represents Musgraves’ fifth Country Airplay entry. She previously charted with “Merry Go ‘Round” (#10 peak), “Blowin’ Smoke” (#23 peak), “Follow Your Arrow” (#43 peak) and “Keep it To Yourself” (#32).

— Also new to the Billboard Country Airplay chart is Luke Bryan’s “Games.” The song, which is cut from his “Spring Break…Checkin’ Out” EP, claims the #57 position on this week’s chart.

— David Fanning’s “Doin’ Country Right” debuts at #60.
