Hot 100: Common & Legend’s “Glory” Soars Into Top 50; Tove Lo, Lee Brice Go Top 60

An Oscars boost that powers Common and John Legend’s “Glory” to #12 on the Digital Songs subchart also facilitates a massive rise on the all-encompassing Hot 100.

The year’s Academy Award winner for Best Original Song climbs a whopping fifty places to a new chart peak of #49.

“Glory” becomes Common’s first Top 50 hit since his Grammy-nominated 2000 single “The Light.” That song peaked at #44.

Legend last reached the Top 50 with his #1-peaking “All of Me.”

The Hot 100’s Top 60 also welcomed some new additions this week:

— Tove Lo’s “Talking Body” rises nine places to #56.

— Lee Brice’s “Drinking Class” jumps seven places to #60.
