Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece By Piece” Album Sales Pacing for 75-80K

Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece by Piece” is on track for a very modest opening week sales total.

According to Hits Daily Double, the album is on track to move 75-80,000 copies in its first week of release. Even if that forecast proves slightly low, the final number will decisively rank as the smallest ever for a traditional Kelly Clarkson studio release.

2011’s “Stronger,” which currently holds the distinction, moved a considerably stronger 163,000 in its inaugural sales frame.

With track equivalent album (10 single sales = 1 album sale) and streaming equivalent album (1500 single streams = 1 album sale) data included, Hits Daily Double envisions the album’s first-week consumption total clocking in at a similarly modest 85-90,000.

Despite faring poorly compared to her five previous studio albums, “Piece by Piece” is expected to rank as the week’s best-selling album.
