RDMA Nominations: Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor Compete for Key Awards

The Radio Disney Music Awards nominations have been announced, and they reveal some very interesting matchups.

Two races, for instance, find Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainor and Ariana Grande in competition. The three female superstars will compete for the song of the year and best female artist prizes.

Grande and Swift also square off in the Most Talked About Artist category, while Swift and Trainor are both up for Best Song to Dance To.

Not simply juicy when it comes to solo artists, the nominations list also has girl group Fifth Harmony and boy band One Direction doing battle in a pair of races. The “X Factor” groups are nominated in the Best Group and Fiercest Fans races.
