Mickey Guyton to Perform on ABC’s “Good Morning America”

One of the most successful acts in country history and one of the genre’s most promising prospects are set to appear on upcoming editions of ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

The latter will showcase her ability with a performance.

ABC confirmed that mainstream country icon Shania Twain will appear for an interview on the Wednesday, March 4 edition.

Rising star Mickey Guyton, whose debut single “Better Than You Left Me” is a Top 40 hit on the Mediabase country airplay chart and nearing that distinction on Billboard, will perform on the Friday, March 6 “GMA” episode.

Other musical acts confirmed for “GMA” include Carly Rae Jepsen and Kelly Clarkson. The former will perform new single “I Really Like You” on 3/2, while the latter will perform and take part in an interview on 3/3. ABC’s full listings follow:

TUESDAY, MARCH 3 – Actress Ming-Na Wen (ABC’s “Agents of Shield”); a performance and interview with singer Kelly Clarkson

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4 – Actress Cate Blanchett (“Cinderella”); singer and songwriter Shania Twain; actress Felicity Huffman (“American Crime”)

THURSDAY, MARCH 5 – Actor Hugh Jackman (“Chappie”); a performance by the musical duo Mary Mary; “Deals and Steals” with contributor Tory Johnson

FRIDAY, MARCH 6 – Actress Ginnifer Goodwin (“Once Upon a Time”); a preview of ABC’s two-hour docudrama series “In an Instant” premiering tonight; a performance by country singer Mickey Guyton
