Life of Dillon’s “Overload” Rises on Hot AC, Pop Airplay Charts

Life of Dillon’s “Overload” is making a quick and significant impression at US radio.

The song, which formally launched at the hot adult contemporary and pop formats last week, is currently the 41st-most played song at the former and 48th-most played at the latter.

Its Hot AC rank, which is confirmed on the Friday edition of Mediabase’s rolling airplay chart, comes courtesy the 297 spins the song received between February 20 and 26. Based on its rate of growth, it is poised to reach the format’s Top 40 in time for Sunday’s official edition of the chart.

“Overload” meanwhile earns its pop position on the strength of 568 weekly spins. That spin total bests last week’s count by 364 plays; no other song beneath the top 40 enjoyed a gain of that magnitude.
