Carly Rae Jepsen’s “I Really Like You” Impacts Pop Radio on March 24

Carly Rae Jepsen’s return to pop radio is less than one month away.

Industry sources have confirmed that “I Really Like You,” the eagerly anticipated lead single from Jepsen’s eagerly anticipated third studio album, formally goes for pop radio adds on March 24.

The song itself will potentially arrive earlier, but March 24 represents the song’s official radio “impact” date.

First confirmed by Interscope’s radio promotions team in December, “I Really Like You” has garnered considerable buzz within the pop music community.

Last month, Jepsen’s manager Scooter Braun claimed that the song is on the same level as her breakthrough hit “Call Me Maybe.”

“Her new single is coming in March,” teased Braun in an interview with Billboard. “I told her that she couldn’t come out with anything unless it was on the level of Call Me Maybe. And, now we have a new one that is on that level.”

Earlier this month, footage emerged from the set of the song’s music video shoot. Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber make appearances in the official “I Really Like You” music video.

Wednesday evening, Carly Rae Jepsen formally confirmed the song on her official website.
