The Voice’s Sawyer Fredericks Flies into Top 50 on iTunes Sales Chart

A “The Voice” contestant cannot yet receive an iTunes multiplier bonus, but he can certainly make a statement.

That is exactly what Sawyer Fredericks is doing. The contestant, whose Blind Audition closed Monday’s show, currently holds a Top 50 position on the iTunes all-genre single sales chart.

Fredericks’ take on “I’m a Man of Constant Sorrow” currently holds the #47 position on iTunes. By far the best-selling release associated with Monday’s season eight “The Voice” premiere, the track should continue to ascend as Tuesday progresses.

“The Voice” is next represented by Cody Wickline’s “He Stopped Loving Her Today.” Following a performance that Adam Levine called the best country showcase he has heard on the show, the track is up to #118 on the all-genre sales chart.

As of press time, Joshua Davis’ “I Shall Be Released” is the only performance currently positioned within the Top 200. It holds the #121 spot.
