Nick Jonas’ “Chains” is Now One of Pop’s 20 Most-Played Songs

When Nick Jonas takes the stage on Friday’s “The Tonight Show,” he will do so with awareness that his new single “Chains” is one of pop radio’s twenty most-played songs.

“Chains” rises to #20 on Friday’s rolling edition of the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart. It commanded a healthy 3,894 spins during the week between February 13 and 19.

Currently on a respectable rise, “Chains” should have no trouble retaining its position through the conclusion of the weekend. It will thus be named an official Top 20 hit on Sunday’s published edition of the Mediabase pop chart.

“Chains” is the follow-up to Jonas’ #1 pop blockbuster “Jealous.” In addition to its Top 20 presence, it holds the #48 spot at hot adult contemporary radio.
