Mediabase’s official pop radio airplay chart confirms that Maroon 5’s “Sugar” is one of the format’s top 10 songs.

Spun approximately 8,844 times during the February 8-14 tracking week, “Sugar” rises to the #10 position this week. It was #14 on last week’s listing with a weekly spin total of 7,236.

That week-over-week gain of 1,608 spins represents the second-greatest rise at the format. Only Taylor Swift’s #6 “Style,” which received a 2,202 boost to its weekly total, enjoyed a greater gain.

— “Sugar” rises to an even higher position on the hot adult contemporary airplay chart. After reaching #11 last week, the third “V” single jumps to #8 this week on the strength of its ~3,924 Hot AC spins.

“Sugar” is the only new top ten entry at either format.

— The song meanwhile enters the top 25 at adult contemporary and is nearing the top 30 at rhythmic.
