Dakota Johnson to Host “Saturday Night Live” on February 28

Buried in the middle of NBC’s 210 minute “SNL 40” broadcast was the news that Dakota Johnson will be hosting the February 28 edition of “Saturday Night Live.”

Johnson, who stars in the box office-leading “50 Shades of Grey,” personally made the reveal during a segment led by Jerry Seinfeld.

No musical guest had been announced at press time.

Despite currently appearing in an erotic drama, Johnson is no stranger to the world of comedy. Prior to securing the high-profile “50 Shades” role, she starred on FOX’s short-lived but critically acclaimed comedy “Ben & Kate.”
