Taylor Swift’s “Style” Hits #18 on the Hot 100; Scores on Radio, Sales Charts

Two weeks ago, Taylor Swift’s “Style” officially entered the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. Last week, the song surged into the chart’s top 30.

This week, it solidifies itself as a top 20 hit.

“Style” appears at #18 on the latest edition of Billboard’s all-encompassing single track chart.

The chart milestone–and week-over-week gain of eleven positions–comes despite a clear handicap. Swift’s “Style” remains unavailable on the major audio streaming networks, and its official video has not yet been released. It has thus been particularly dependent on sales and airplay to accumulate chart points.

Luckily, it continues to succeed in both regards. “Style” rises to #7 (+5) on the weekly Digital Songs chart and #9 (+6) on the all-format “Radio Songs” listing.

Once the video releases Friday, “Style” will begin to attract a significant quantity of streaming points and thus put itself on track for greater success.

“Style” is one of three Swift representatives on the Hot 100. She also appears at #5 via “Blank Space” and #10 via “Shake it Off.”
