Designed as a breakthrough for Natalie La Rose, “Somebody” is definitely getting the job done.

The track, which features Jeremih, rises to the #10 position on the latest edition of Billboard’s airplay-driven Rhythmic Songs chart.

Up three places from last week’s position, “Somebody” received a healthy 2,373 weekly spins from the Nielsen BDS panel of rhythmic stations. Indicative of the song’s impressive momentum, its week-over-week spin gain of 477 was one of the five greatest at the format.

And while rhythmic represents the core format for “Somebody”–and the one at which the song is receiving support from the iHeartRadio “On the Verge” program–it is not the only one receptive to Natalie La Rose’s debut single. Pop radio has also enthusiastically welcomed the track, and “Somebody” accordingly jumps to #26 (+7) on the latest edition of Billboard’s Pop Songs chart.

The success at radio comes with a corresponding climb on the iTunes all-genre single sales chart. Benefiting from the surging exposure–and from a discounted $0.69 price tag–“Somebody” was up to #26 on the listing at press time. A hop into the 25 seemed imminent.

The impending release of the song’s music video, meanwhile, will help “Somebody” make progress on Billboard’s Streaming Songs chart.

With airplay, sales and streaming all on the rise, “Somebody” is due to continue advancing on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.

— Also new top the top ten at Rhythmic Songs this week: Chris Brown & Tyga’s “Ayo.” It rises five places to #9.
