Tove Lo’s “Habits (Stay High)” is Certified 3x Platinum

The single that took Tove Lo to the top of the pop radio airplay chart and #3 on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100 has officially been certified a 3x platinum digital single in the US.

News of the certification comes courtesy the RIAA, which revealed that Tove Lo’s breakthrough “Habits (Stay High)” received its 3x platinum distinction on January 30.

The certification confirms a unit total in excess of three million. A unit is equivalent to one digital single sale or one hundred streams.

Tove Lo, whose debut 2014 album “Queen of the Clouds” commanded rave reviews, hopes to extend her success with new single “Talking Body.” The “Habits” follow-up is currently a top 40 hit at pop and and hot adult contemporary radio. It debuted at #95 on this week’s Hot 100.
