Ratings: VH1’s “Hindsight” Rises in Week Three

While the overall ratings portraits of FOX’s smash hit “Empire” and VH1’s struggling “Hindsight” are dramatically different, both have one thing in common: a week three rise.

After slipping to a paltry 0.1 adults 18-49 rating with 226,000 viewers for its second installment, VH1’s original series jumped to a 0.2 with 298,000 viewers in week three. It also rose from a 0.2 to a 0.3 in females 12-34 and from a 0.1 to a 0.2 in adults 18-34.

Realistically, the latest performance is still poor even by the reduced standards of cable television. That “Hindsight” avoided slipping to another low this week, however, represents one element of positivity in a rather bleak scenario.
