Blake Shelton Plays “The Whisper Challenge” on “The Tonight Show” (Watch)

Update: Blake Shelton was the lead guest on Thursday’s “The Tonight Show.”

As part of his appearance, which was designed to promote his upcoming double duty “SNL” gig, Shelton played a game called “The Whisper Challenge.” A video of that segment follows. Photos from the taping, which also included visits from Bob Costas and Motley Crue, are also included below.

This Saturday, Blake Shelton makes his “Saturday Night Live” debut. And insofar as he is famous for his big personality and hit music, he will be pulling double duty as both the host and the musical guest.

To promote the appearance–and perhaps fine tune his comedic timing–Shelton stops by Thursday’s edition of NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Yes, that is correct. A coach on NBC’s “The Voice” who is hosting NBC’s “SNL” will be appearing on NBC’s “The Tonight Show.” Network synergy at its finest!

Taped Thursday afternoon, the latest “Tonight Show” also features an appearance by Bob Costas and a musical performance by Motley Crue. First look photos from the taping follow:
