Hot 100: Taylor Swift’s “Style” Hits New Peak, Sells 51K More

Rising sales and surging airplay help Taylor Swift’s “Style” reach a new peak on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song, which Headline Planet confirmed as the third single from “1989” last week, jumps twenty places to #52 on this week’s edition of the all-encompassing chart.

Already #24 on Billboard’s Pop Songs and #29 on Billboard’s Adult Pop Songs airplay listings, “Style” also rises to #23 on the Digital Songs chart. The track drove 51,000 paid downloads during the most recent tracking week.

Likely to rocket into the top ten once it begins scoring streaming points from an official video, “Style” hopes to follow in the successful footsteps of predecessors “Blank Space” and “Shake it Off.” Both “1989” singles hit #1, and both appear within this week’s top five (“Blank Space” at #3, “Shake it Off” at #5).
