Ratings: “SNL” Even in Demo, Up in Households for Kevin Hart, Sia Episode

It was not as successful as his first visit–and it was not a standout when compared to the season’s other broadcasts–but Kevin Hart’s second “SNL” episode did enjoy a slight uptick in the overnight household ratings.

This weekend’s “Saturday Night Live,” which was hosted by Hart and featured musical guest Sia, drew a 4.1 overnight household rating (metered markets). Per NBC, it drew a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating in the twenty five markets with local people meter data.

The previous “SNL,” which featured Amy Adams and One Direction and aired on December 20, drew the same 2.0 adults 18-49 rating but a slightly lesser 4.0 overnight household rating. Kevin Hart’s previous episode, which aired on March 2, 2013 and featured musical guests Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, posted a 4.8 overnight household rating and a 2.8 in adults 18-49.

Blake Shelton serves as the host and musical guest of next week’s installment.
