While the Recording Academy and CBS have only formally confirmed five performing acts in written press releases, a commercial that ran during Sunday’s AFC Championship game revealed others who will be taking the stage at “Music’s Biggest Night.”
The television spot, which acknowledged that previously announced acts AC/DC, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Madonna and Eric Church will be performing, added five more names to the mix.
Among those also playing the show are Sam Smith, Pharrell, Miranda Lambert, Jessie J and Tom Jones. The latter two will perform a duet on the broadcast.
More names are due to be revealed imminently. The Grammys ceremony airs on February 8.
