Meghan Trainor’s “Lips are Movin” is Now One of Pop’s Ten Most-Played

Meghan Trainor’s debut studio album “Title,” which arrives Tuesday, contains a multi-week number one hit in “All About That Bass.”

It also contains one of pop’s ten most-played songs in “Lips are Movin.”

While it did not reach the top ten in time for Sunday’s official chart update, “Lips” does claim the #10 spot on the Monday edition of Mediabase’s rolling pop radio airplay chart. The song ranks as #10 thanks to the 9,230 spins it received during the January 5-11 tracking period.

“Lips,” which has already gone as high as #4 on the all-encompassing Hot 100 thanks to its comparative strength in streaming and sales, leapfrogged Calvin Harris’ fading “Blame” to reach the #10 position.

— As of Monday, the song is also one of the ten most-played songs at hot adult contemporary radio. Per Mediabase, the song’s Hot AC spin count of 3,205 was the ninth-greatest between January 5 and 11.
