CBS Renews “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Madam Secretary,” “Scorpion”

The CBS lineup features the 2014-15 television season’s three most-watched new series.

All three series will be back in 2015-16.

CBS announced that “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Madam Secretary” and “Scorpion” have all been renewed for second seasons.

“These freshman dramas have each made a big impact on key nights of the week,” said CBS’ Nina Tassler. “Creatively distinctive, the series are backed by strong showrunners with amazingly talented casts, and have resonated with a big, broad audience.”

Per CBS’ press release, “NCIS: New Orleans,” “Madam Secretary” and “Scorpion” average weekly audiences of 18.1 million, 14.9 million and 14.5 million, respectively.
