Hot 100: Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time,” Jake Owen’s “What We Ain’t Got” Debut

Several country songs that had been knocking on the door are finally listed on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Leading the charge of newcomers this week is Sam Hunt’s “Take Your Time,” which begins its run at #93. “Time” is the follow-up to Hunt’s breakthrough “Leave the Night On,” which went as high as #76.

Following closely is Jake Owen’s “What We Ain’t Got.” The single makes its first Hot 100 appearance at #95.

Having already charted with “Redneck Crazy” (#29) and “Whiskey in My Water” (#52), Tyler Farr scores his third Hot 100 hit this week. His “A Guy Walks Into a Bar” opens at #97.

Chase Bryant’s iHeartRadio “On the Verge” track “Take it On Back” follows at #98, while Cole Swindell’s new single “Ain’t Worth the Whiskey” begins its run at #99.
