Blake Shelton Set for “SNL” Double Duty, Sia to Perform on 1/17

When it comes to the January 24 “Saturday Night Live,” NBC will be keeping it in the family.

The network announced that its “The Voice” coach Blake Shelton will pull double duty as the episode’s host and musical guest.

Marking Shelton’s debut on the program, the January 24 episode comes a month before he returns to coach on season eight of “The Voice.” That cycle launches on February 23.

— In its Tuesday press release, NBC also revealed that Sia will perform as a musical guest on the January 17 episode. Kevin Hart had already been confirmed as host.
