Hot 100: J. Cole’s “Wet Dreamz,” “No Role Modelz” Debut This Week

Not simply successful as the sum of parts, J. Cole’s “2014 Forest Hills Drive” is generating enthusiasm over its parts.

Purchased in its entirety 354,000 times last week, “2014 Forest Hills Drive” also thrust two individual tracks onto the Billboard Hot 100.

“Wet Dreamz,” the album’s standout from a commercial standpoint, arrives on the Hot 100 at #73. “No Role Modelz,” meanwhile, arrives at #95.

J. Cole’s album is also represented by several tracks on Billboard’s “Bubbling Under” chart. Songs just shy of Hot 100 placement include lead single “Apparently” (#2), “Fire Squad” (#5), “A Tale of 2 Citiez” (#7), “GOMD” (#9), “03 Adolescence” (#23) and “January 28th” (#23).
