Hot 100: Beyonce’s “7/11” Hits New Peak, Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking” Top 25

It might not claim the #7 or #11 position, but Beyonce’s “7/11” does reach a new high on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

The superstar’s latest release rises five places to #13 on Billboard’s weekly, all-encompassing track chart. The rise comes courtesy what Billboard identifies as the “biggest gain in streams” among Hot 100 members.

Also on the move this week: Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud.” Benefiting from hot sales and streaming and early airplay, Sheeran’s third US “x” single soars fifteen places to #24 on the chart.

With “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show”-boosted sales in the calculation this week, Sheeran’s tune will claim an even higher position on next week’s Hot 100.

— Sheeran also earns a top 40 launch via “Make it Rain.” His song, which appeared on “The Sons of Anarchy,” enters at #34.
