Selena Gomez, Fall Out Boy Officially Go Top 20 at Pop

Two songs that had been on the upward move officially hop into the top twenty at pop radio this week.

Selena Gomez’ “The Heart Wants What it Wants,” the more explosive of the two, grabs the #19 position on Mediabase’s official pop airplay chart. Up two places this week, it claims the #19 spot thanks to the 4,936 spins it received during the November 23-29 tracking period.

Its week-over-week gain of 1,109 was the format’s 5th-largest.

Fall Out Boy, meanwhile, enters the top twenty courtesy “Centuries.” The song, which is also a top twenty hit at hot adult contemporary radio and a top five hit at alternative radio, grabs the #20 spot courtesy its 4,302 weekly spins.
