Ratings: “American Horror Story: Freak Show” Up From Season Low

It did not bounce all the way back, but Wednesday’s “American Horror: Freak Show” did recover some of the ground lost by last week’s episode.

This week’s episode drew a 2.0 adults 18-49 rating with 3.91 million viewers. Both figures best those of last week’s episode, which garnered a 1.8 rating and 3.65 million viewers.

Despite the improvement, the performance once again trailed that of the corresponding “American Horror Story: Coven” episode. The seventh episode of the witch-themed season drew a 2.2 rating with 4.00 million viewers on November 20, 2013.

FX’s “Freak Show” still ranked as cable’s biggest adults 18-49 draw Wednesday. It also out-rated timeslot competition from broadcast networks ABC, NBC and CBS.
