Ratings: FOX’s “Gracepoint” Sinks to a Series Low (Updated)

Update: FOX’s “Gracepoint” drew a series low 0.7 adults 18-49 rating with 3.03 million viewers Thursday.

Lead-in “Bones” opened the network’s evening with a 1.3 and 5.64 million viewers.

Removing CBS’ football coverage from the equation has not aided FOX’s struggling event series “Gracepoint.”

The “Broadchurch” adaptation, which has underperformed all season, sank to a series low 2.1 overnight household rating this week. While it might have avoided a low in the adults 18-49 and total viewership columns, it surely did not enjoy a major rebound.

“Gracepoint” continues to see sizable percentage gains when DVR viewership is included, but insofar as its core audience is so small, those big percentage gains do not turn the series into anything resembling a hit.

Four inaugural season “Gracepoint” episodes remain; FOX has not yet weighed in on the effort’s long-term future.
