CBS Books Full Seasons of “Stalker,” “Madam Secretary,” “NCIS: NO,” “Scorpion”

When it comes to drama launches this season, CBS believes it is four for four.

The network confirmed Monday that it has issued full seasons to all four of its new drama series.

Since commencing their runs this summer, “Madam Secretary,” “Scorpion,” “NCIS: New Orleans” and “Stalker” have garnered sizable, reasonably consistent audiences. They have consequently proven competitive in their timeslots, and CBS wants to keep all around for the duration of the season.

“”These four shows have had an immediate impact on our schedule by improving nights, winning time periods and adding more hours of success across our primetime line up,” said Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment.

CBS notes that “NCIS: NO,” “Scorpion” and “Madam Secretary” are the first, second and fourth most-watched new series on television. “Stalker,” meanwhile, has won its timeslot every week.
