Peyton Manning Sets the All-Time TD Record with #509

SNF [NBC]

All week, NBC promoted Sunday’s Denver Broncos vs. San Francisco 49ers game in accordance with the possibility that it would feature Peyton Manning’s record-setting 509th career touchdown pass.

It happened. Late in the second quarter, Peyton Manning broke Brett Favre’s all-time record by delivering his 509th touchdown pass.

On the receiving end was Demaryius Thomas, whose catch marked Manning’s third TD of the game. Earlier in the night, Manning completed 6-point passes to Emmanuel Sanders and Wes Welker.

The score gave the Broncos a 21-3 lead in the high-profile Sunday Night Football contest.
