Pop radio’s number two song is beginning to gain some steam at the hot adult contemporary format.

Iggy Azalea’s “Black Widow (featuring Rita Ora),” that song, rises to #37 (+5) on Mediabase’s official Hot AC airplay chart this week. It secures the spot on the strength of the 446 spins it received during the October 5-11 tracking period.

Also new to the Top 40 at Hot AC is Big Data’s former alternative number one “Dangerous (featuring Joywave).” The crossover track rises to #40 (+3) on the strength of 357 weekly spins.

Thanks to some chart cleanup, 5 Seconds of Summer’s “Amnesia,” which actually endured an airplay decline at the format this week, bounces back into the Top 40. It advances two places to #39 on the official chart.
