Florida Georgia Line’s “Dirt” Cruises to #1 at Country

Florida Georgia Line went a different musical and lyrical direction with lead “Anything Goes” single “Dirt,” but the result was no less fruitful.

As of Saturday’s rolling Mediabase airplay chart, the song is #1 at the country radio format. It will hold that position when the official airplay chart is issued Sunday evening.

“Dirt” reaches #1 on the strength of its 7,906 spins between October 4 and October 10. Luke Bryan’s “Roller Coaster,” the previous leader, claimed 7,650 spins.

“Dirt” also received the largest number of audience impressions from Mediabase panel members, which bodes well for (but does not guarantee due to differences in the panels) a #1 appearance on the audience-driven Billboard Country Airplay chart.

Other top five songs include Jason Aldean’s #3 “Burnin’ it Down,” Sam Hunt’s #4 “Leave the Night On” and Blake Shelton’s #5 “Neon Light.”
