Updated: Episode two of FOX’s “Gracepoint” endured a sizable decline in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic.
After posting a disappointing 1.2 adults 18-49 rating last week, the “Broadchurch” adaptation slipped to an abysmal 0.9 adults 18-49 rating in week two. Its viewership average of 3.9 million was also down sharply from last week’s 4.7 million count.
Earlier in the night, FOX offered “Bones” (1.5, 6.3 million).

Last week’s low premiere rating was evidently not a bottom for FOX’s “Gracepoint.”
After premiering to an abysmal 2.9 overnight household rating last week, the network’s “Broadchurch” adaptation slid to a 2.5 overnight rating in week two. That drop might not completely manifest in the adults 18-49 and total viewership columns, but it does rule out the possibility that the series enjoyed significant growth in its second week of broadcast.
Last week’s 2.9 overnight rating translated into a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating with 4.73 million viewers.
Earlier in the night (this week), FOX offered “Bones.” It drew a 4.2 overnight household rating.
