Ratings: “American Horror Story: Freakshow” Opens to Series High

Cosmo Kramer might have been onto something after all: there apparently is room on television for a “Freakshow.”

“Freakshow,” the fourth installment of FX’s “American Horror Story” anthology series, kicked off its run with a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating and 6.127 million viewers.

Both numbers best those of predecessor “Coven,” which premiered to a 3.0 with 5.538 million viewers last fall.

“AHS: Freakshow” was the night’s top-rated cable program in adults 18-49, females 12-34 (4.1 rating), adults 18-34 (3.7) and adults 25-54 (2.6).
