Lorde’s “Yellow Flicker Beat” Now Top 30 at Alternative

Lorde’s “Yellow Flicker Beat” continues sparking up the chart.

The lead single from “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1,” which yesterday entered the Top 40 on Mediabase’s rolling alternative airplay chart, is now within the Top 30 on the listing.

Per Mediabase, the song had amassed an impressive 510 alternative radio spins by the end of Thursday. Despite being the product of only a few days of availability, that is the format’s 27th-largest count for the entire seven day period between September 26 and October 2.

Its audience of 3.13 million is, meanwhile, alternative radio’s 15th-largest for the tracking period.

“Yellow Flicker Beat” is also now a Top 30 hit at Triple A radio. It is currently #30 for airplay and and #18 for audience.
