Those not affected by “Amnesia” know that Thursday brings one of the most eagerly anticipated “Tonight Show” episodes in recent memory.

In addition to featuring an appearance by newly retired Yankees great Derek Jeter, Thursday’s episode of the iconic NBC late night series boasts a performance by Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer.

The focus of explosive fan passion and the source of solid pop radio performers in “She Looks So Perfect” and “Amnesia,” 5 Seconds of Summer continues its breakthrough 2014 with an appearance on late-night’s hottest and highest-profile talk show.

Set to air at 11:35PM ET on NBC, Thursday’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” also features an appearance by James Marsden.
