BANKS’ “Beggin for Thread” on the Rise at Alternative

BANKS’ “Beggin for Thread” might be catchier and more radio-friendly than the majority of pop songs, but it is thus far finding significant comfort within the alternative lane.

After debuting in the top 40 on last Sunday’s edition of the official Mediabase alternative airplay chart, the “Goddess” single is already nearing the format’s Top 30.

The recipient of 319 spins between September 21 and September 27, “Beggin for Thread” is currently the #33 song at alternative radio. The notorious congestion at alternative will prevent the song from climbing the charts too quickly, but insofar as it is now enjoying double-digit spin gains per day, “Beggin for Thread” is definitely a song to watch.

The song, which garnered 786,000 impressions during the aforementioned period, reached alternative’s 34th-largest audience.

Thrilled with the song’s success at alternative, label Harvest Records issued a celebratory promotional email on behalf of BANKS earlier this week.
