Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” Returns to #1 on Sales Chart

Fueled by a “Classroom Instruments” performance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and the largest single day airplay gains at pop and hot adult contemporary radio, Meghan Trainor’s “All About That Bass” returns to the #1 spot on iTunes.

“Bass,” which hit #1 on the iTunes overall single sales chart earlier this summer, had spent the past two weeks in the shadow of Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off.” But the combination of its rapidly growing exposure and the inevitable cooling of “Shake it Off” buzz has sent the crown back to Meghan Trainor.

Currently #1 on iTunes and #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, “All About That Bass” is the #4 song at pop radio, the #10 song at hot adult contemporary radio and the #23 song at rhythmic radio. It also continues to perform well on Spotify and YouTube/Vevo.
